This LMS pathway mirrors Wiley’s current blended certification structure: 2 weeks, ~20 total hours, combining 5 asynchronous modules, 4 live virtual classroom sessions (2 × 120 min/week), 2 application projects, and a final certification exam leading to the Everything DiSC Certified Practitioner credential.

Introduction

Course Overview

Target learners
Adult professionals (L&D, HR, internal trainers, coaches, consultants, people leaders) with mixed familiarity with behavioral assessments. Wiley positions this certification especially for in-house practitioners implementing and scaling Everything DiSC.

Course goal
Enable learners to confidently interpret Everything DiSC results, facilitate impactful learning experiences, build custom solutions using Everything DiSC on Catalyst, and complete Wiley’s certification requirements.

Course objectives (course-level)
By the end, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain the DiSC model, theory, and key principles in workplace language.
  2. Interpret Everything DiSC profiles and translate insights into practical behavior shifts.
  3. Facilitate DiSC learning experiences with strong adult-learning design, inclusive practices, and skilled handling of group dynamics.
  4. Build custom solutions using the Catalyst experience and the broader Everything DiSC suite (e.g., Workplace, Management, Agile EQ; and newer modules referenced in certification info).

Complete required application projects and pass the exam to earn the official credential.

Course Currilcum

  • Module 0: Orientation + “How Certification Works” 00:45:00
  • Welcome to the Everything DiSC Certification learning pathway. This orientation helps you set up your learning environment, understand how the self-paced modules connect to the live sessions, and plan your time across the two-week journey. You’ll also review professional use guidelines—especially confidentiality, respectful language, and psychological safety—so you can practice DiSC responsibly in real workplace contexts. By the end of this module, you’ll know exactly what to do each week, where to find resources, how to submit assignments, and how to get help if you’re stuck.
  • Module 1: Foundations of DiSC + Evidence-Informed Use 02:00:00
  • In this module, you’ll build a clear, workplace-ready understanding of the DiSC model—what it explains, what it does not explain, and how to avoid the most common misuse (labeling, stereotyping, or treating DiSC as a performance predictor). You’ll learn to describe DiSC as a practical language for observable behavioral preferences and to keep the conversation focused on choice, context, and adaptability. You’ll also establish the ethical foundation required for certification: confidentiality, consent, psychological safety, and appropriate-use boundaries in workplaces.
  • Module 2: Interpreting Everything DiSC Profiles (Catalyst-first) 02:00:00
  • This module shifts from understanding DiSC to applying it—specifically, interpreting Everything DiSC insights and translating them into practical workplace behavior change. You’ll learn a clean, repeatable 1:1 debrief flow, how to respond when someone says “this doesn’t sound like me,” and how to keep conversations non-judgmental and psychologically safe. You’ll also practice turning profile insights into “micro-actions” that learners can test in real meetings, conversations, feedback moments, and conflict situations.
  • Module 3: Facilitation Skills for DiSC Workshops (Virtual + In-person) 02:00:00
  • Knowing DiSC is not the same as facilitating DiSC. In this module, you’ll develop the facilitation moves that make DiSC learning engaging, inclusive, and behavior- changing—especially with adult audiences. You’ll practice structuring participation (so a few voices don’t dominate), guiding groups away from “boxing,” and responding calmly to skepticism or pushback. You’ll also design a short micro-teach and prepare to demonstrate your facilitation capability during the live sessions.
  • Module 4: Building Custom Solutions (Catalyst + Everything DiSC Suite) 02:00:00
  • This module focuses on practitioner-level value: building solutions that serve real business needs—not just delivering a workshop. You’ll learn how to conduct quick discovery, define target behaviors, design reinforcement, and select the right learning components for the context. Most importantly, you’ll translate DiSC insights into a workplace solution with measurable indicators (what will people do differently, and how will we know?). You will create your first major application deliverable: a client-ready solution blueprint.
  • Module 5: Implementation, Administration, and Certification Readiness 02:00:00
  • This module prepares you to implement DiSC with professionalism and consistency—across cohorts, facilitators, and stakeholder expectations. You’ll build a rollout checklist, define governance norms for confidentiality and consent, and practice exam readiness through applied questions (not memorization). You’ll also finalize your second application deliverable (workshop project presentation assets) and complete the comprehensive mock exam to confirm readiness for certification assessment.
